Our Story

The Lebanon Community Food Pantry was founded in 2024 with one simple mission: to make sure families in our community have food on their tables and know they are cared for.

In April 2026, new leadership stepped in with a heart to continue growing that mission and serving Russell County with compassion, dignity, and consistency. What started as a local food pantry has become a place where neighbors truly help neighbors.

Each month, we serve families across Russell County by providing groceries, hygiene items, and support during difficult seasons of life. We believe no one should have to choose between paying bills and feeding their family.

More than anything, we want every person who walks through our doors to feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Whether you donate, volunteer, pray, or simply share our mission with others, you are helping make a difference in the lives of local families.

Together, we are fighting hunger and building a stronger community — one family at a time.

Pantry Hours

The Lebanon Community Food Pantry is open Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Our pantry operates on a monthly schedule, and each client is assigned a designated Thursday during the month to receive food assistance. Clients should plan to visit during their assigned week.

If you are unable to attend on your designated Thursday, you are welcome to come later in the month during another open Thursday. However, early visits before your assigned week are not permitted so we can ensure food is available for everyone scheduled.

The pantry is open four Thursdays each month. When a month includes a fifth Thursday, the pantry will be closed that week.

We appreciate your understanding as this schedule helps us serve our community fairly and efficiently.
